It worked .. but namecheap always giving $1 off as coupons , whereas godaddy gives $5 off or even $1 domain registration coupons.. you are doing great service , so try to attracat more people by doing this way..

Manivasagam: these are everyday coupons. I don’t believe their coupons are offered 24/7/365 :)

Mark: It only works on com/net/org/biz new registrations, not renewals.

Faizan: I’m afraid there isn’t one, but once you reactivate your domain, please renew for multiple years for a discount!

  5. Do you have coupons for 99 cents first time domain register?

  6. Tamar, Namecheap Community Manager says:

Not right now, Dan, but maybe soon :)

  7. kindly tell me that , what is the expiry of SPOOKYDEAL , and how much discount on it ?

  8. Tamar, Namecheap Community Manager says:

It’s about $1 off and is a coupon for the month of October.

  9. Little bit disappointed because the BDAYPARTY coupon can’t use for buying new domain for October…

Yoky, it’s a long anticipated renewal code. :)

SPOOKYDEAL is still valid for new domains today.

Like any business Namecheap gets progressively worse every year I’m with them. They have no interest in their current customers. They remind me of every $hitty cell phone company I’ve ever had: they’re more interested in new accounts than providing deals and quality service to long time loyal customers. Customers who have 20 or 30 domains registered with them. But hey… if you can become a successful jacka$$ with 50 domains names… then Namecheap will cut you a deal… maybe. I hate those elephant killers over at GoDaddy, but at least GoDaddy always used to cut me a break when I renewed my domain names. Namecheap, be on notice you’re about to lose one customer before the next year’s end.

    Hi Rob,

I’m really sorry you feel this way about our service. Have you ever read this letter from Namecheap? http://community.namecheap.com/blog/2011/08/01/renewal-coupons/

Just a note, I am a Namecheap employee and I pay the same rates you do. We keep costs already so low that we’re literally making pennies on every registration, transfer, and renewal.

Trust us when we say that we want to keep the prices as low as possible, but at the end of the day, we couldn’t provide you with high quality service and support you’ve come to expect if we were to charge any less. Our Namecheap name will always hold true, and we’ll do whatever we can do keep costs low.

Please take a moment to read that letter. We mean every word of it.
